Small stories. Shot like they matter.

Immersion Imagery is an Australian film production company founded by cinematographer and filmmaker Richard Jones.

Who we are

Character-driven films about ordinary people at turning points.

A mother learning how to grieve. A woman pushed to the edge by the housing crisis. A decommissioned robot deciding whether to keep her memory of love.

Richard came up behind the camera, and it shows in how the company works. Every project is built image-first: the same attention to light, composition and performance goes into a ten-minute short as into a feature in development.

We keep the slate deliberately small — a handful of projects at a time, each one seen through from first draft to final grade.
